Abstract

Abstract

While examining the effects of nutrition on health, the nutritional diversity is characterized by the suitability and sustainability of the individual's living conditions. Thanks to the holistic and productive approach taken in health and nutrition, people's nutrition should be guided by taking into account their "well-being". Since people's working life covers an average of one third of a day, their nutrition should be guided by taking into account the working conditions. As a matter of fact, ship workers are one of the groups most affected by the difficulties of working conditions and limited opportunities. This is also very important for their health. In this review, the relationship between the nutrition of ship workers and some chronic diseases was investigated.
