Abstract

Bu çalışma, 16-18. Yy’da İngiltere’de dünyevi asketizm ve dünyevi asektizm kavramları açısından Endüstri Kapitalizmi ’ne geçişi sorgulamayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, kazanabildiğin kadar kazan buyruğunu yerine getirmek için dünyevi asketiklerin sahip olduğu zihniyet, kapitalizmin ortaya çıkmasına verimli bir temel oluşturduğu için prütanist çağrı (çalışma çağrısı) kavramı ve kapitalist ruh arasında güçlü bir ilişki kurulacaktır. Dünyevi asketizmin kurumları olarak prüten mezheplerin altı çizilecektir. Bu doğrultuda bu çalışmanın sentez aşaması olan Smithian Devrim, manastır yaşamının toplumsallaşması olarak gösterilecektir.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the transition to industrial capitalism in terms of asceticism-wordly asceticism in the case of England in 16-18th century. İn this study will be set a strong relation between the concept of prutanist calling and the birth of capitalism. Because of the mind of wordly ascetics would constitute fertile ground for injunction which bade them at the dawn capitalism. Prutan orders will be highlighted as institutions of wordly asceticism. Monasteries will be defined as practise areas of wordly asceticism. İn this direction; Smithian Revolution, the synthesis stage of this study, will be shown as the socialization of the monastic life.
