Abstract

Abstract

It has been determined through various researches that the use of space by young people is different from society in general. In particular, psychosocial structures and the activities they perform towards this structure are different from children and adults. However, the studies that reveal the findings about the needs to obtain the gains necessary for the development of the psychosocial structure of youth and the spatial opportunities that enable the fulfillment of these activities are lacking. In this study, a model aimed to create open spaces suitable for psychosocial structure of youh has been put forward. This model describes what activities are performed in open spaces for young people's psychosocial structures and the facilities that the place should provide for these activities to be realized. These possibilities and models are defined as mobility, naturalness, openness; must be considered in the spaces to be created for youth.
