Abstract
Çalışmanın amacı, yeni bin yılın felsefesi olmaya aday olan, ayrıca, son yıllarda sıkça gündemde yer almaya başlayan derin ekoloji hareketinin nasıl bir politik yaklaşımı benimsediğini analiz ederek ortaya koymaktır. Derin ekolojinin temel unsurlarından biri politika kavramıdır. Ayrıca derin ekoloji platformunun politika kavramıyla doğrudan ilgili bir ilkesi mevcuttur: “Politikalar değişmelidir. Bu politikalar temel ekonomik, teknolojik ve ideolojik yapıyı etkilemektedir. Bu değişikliğin gerçekleşmesi halinde ortaya çıkan durum, mevcut durumdan büyük ölçüde farklı olacaktır.” Çalışma birbiri ile bağlantılı üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Derin ekolojinin politik eleştirisi, derin ekoloji ve politik sorunlar, sınıf analizi. Politik açıdan analizde, çevremerkezci ögelere sahip olmakla beraber insanmerkezci bir bakış açısı daha baskındır.

Abstract
The purpose of the study is to analyse what kind of political approach is adopted by the deep ecology movement which is expected to be the philosophy of the new millennium and which is frequently on the agenda. One of the fundamental elements of deep ecology is the concept of politics. In addition, the concept of deep ecology platform has one direct principle on the concept of politics: “Policies must therefore be changed. These policies affect basic economic, technological, and ideological structures. The resulting state of affairs will be deeply different from the present.”The study consists of three interrelated parts. political criticism of deep ecology, deep ecology and political problems, class analysis. In political analysis, although it has ecocentric elements, the anthropocentric point of view is predominant.
