Abstract

Bu çalışmada medikal turizmde hasta tercihini etkileyen faktörleri belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada medikal turizm kapsamında gelen hastaların tercihlerini etkileyen faktörleri inceleyen araştırmalar ve değerlendirme çalışmaları dikkate alınmıştır. Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda elde edilen faktörler ülke seçimi ve kurum seçimi olmak üzere iki ayrı temelde sınıflandırılmıştır. Ülke seçiminde sosyo-ekonomik ve politik durumun, mevzuatın, aracı kuruluşların, ulaşımın ve diğer turizm faaliyetlerinin etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir. Kurum seçiminde ise, kalite, maliyet, bekleme süresi, iletişim, tanıtım ve teknoloji faktörlerinin dikkate alındığı gözlemlenmiştir.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the factors affecting patient preference in medical tourism. In this study, the researches and evaluation studies examining the factors affecting the preferences of patients in the scope of medical tourism were taken into consideration. The factors obtained as a result of the examinations were classified on two different basis: country selection and institution selection. It was determined that socio-economic and political situation, legislation, intermediary institutions, transportation and other tourism activities were effective in the country selection. In the selection of the institution, it was observed that quality, cost, waiting period, communication, promotion and technology factors were taken into consideration.
