Abstract

Bilgi ve iletişim teknolojisinde yaşanan gelişmeler çerçevesinde bireylerin risk karşısında gösterdiği tutum yani risk alma tutumlarının incelenmesi önem arz etmektedir. Bu kapsamda, bireylerin risk alma tutumlarının altında yatan sebeplerin araştırılması gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada, bireylerin güven, finansal okuryazarlık ve finansal risk toleranslarının risk alma tutumları üzerindeki etkisi incelenmektedir. 1347 gönüllü bireyin katılımıyla gerçekleştirilen anket aracılığıyla araştırma verileri toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın analizlerinde faktör yapısının incelenmesi için açıklayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Değişkenler arasındaki ikili ilişkilerin analizi için korelasyon analizi ve hipotezlerin test edilmesinde doğrusal regresyon yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, güven, finansal okuryazarlık, finansal risk toleransı değişkenlerinin bireylerin risk alma tutumları üzerinde anlamlı etkileri tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract

Within the framework of developments in information and communication technology, it is important to examine the attitudes of individuals towards risk, that is, their risk-taking attitudes. In this context, it is necessary to investigate the reasons underlying the risk-taking attitudes of individuals. In this study, the effects of individuals' trust, financial literacy and financial risk tolerance on risk taking attitudes are examined. Research data were collected through a survey conducted with the participation of 1347 volunteers. In the analysis of the research, explanatory factor analysis was performed to examine the factor structure. Correlation analysis was used for the analysis of the bilateral relations between the variables and linear regression method was used for testing the hypotheses. As a result of the research, it was determined that the variables of trust, financial literacy, financial risk tolerance have significant effects on the risk taking attitudes of individuals.
